ROPU NAWA & FREYA HELLESDIMS TWISTED APPROACH TO HASHIRA

At this workshop we will present our non-dogmatic approach to hashira, tying floor based, partial and suspended hashira. The weekend will include static semenawa ties on the hashira, as hashira ties with our twisted approach.

We will show you:
• How to build an entire 360° tie around the hashira into a session
• Unusual shapes that can be created on the hashira
• What to keep an eye on to stay safe and (mostly) sane

PRE REQUISITIONS
BOTH
• Must be experienced and confident with 
doing various suspensions
• Must be familiar with Hashira suspensions and open to implementing new ties during the workshop
• Have strong communication together in ropes, verbally (when needed) as non-verbally

RIGGERS
• must be able to tie a suspension safe TK or Tenshi
• Knowledge about body management in ropes

ROPE MODELS
• must be body and risk aware, and know yourself mentally, emotionally as physically in ropes
• must know how to deal with breath restriction
• must know about nerves in ropes

LEVEL
Advanced

• 10-12 x 8m rope
• 1 x 2m rope
• 1 x 4m rope
